• Question: Why do leaves never look the same shape?

      Cool Q :-). Lots of different trees or plants have different shaped leaves because they live in different places or at different times. All leaves try and catch sunshine, so they find the best shape to do that wherever they are. So some plants have really big leaves if they live in shady places without much wind, and maybe they’ll have smaller leaves if there is a lot of wind and they might get damaged if they are too big.
      They can look different even on a single plants too, depending on how they grow or what happens to them as they grow: some might be next to a wall, or get eaten by a slug!
