Yes, some animals sunburn in places when they don’t have hair – like a dog can, for instance. Chinese crested dogs and other hairless dogs can get burned, and they should have sunscreen put on them if they’re outside in the sun. You need to pick a special sunscreen though, because they lick it off and that can be toxic.
